HOW TO SHINE BRIGHT WITH YOU MAKEUP FOR THE HOLIDAYS
The holidays are a time to try something new…something you’ve always wanted to try like a bold lip or sparkles and glitter. These looks are easy to do and can they work day and night.I am going to show you some easy looks that you can rock at your holiday parties this season.
Bring on the glitz and glam and shine bright for the holidays. A sparkly eyeshadow is an easy way to dress up your makeup in 10 seconds.
Try this look by lining your eyes top and bottom with a long wearing creamy eye pencil such as black or brown like Marc Jacobs Beauty Gel Eyeliner Blacklaquer. Lightly wet an eyeshadow brush with Mac Fix Plus Spray, dip it into a sparkly eyeshadow with glitter flecks such as Marc Jacobs Beauty in color Icy Black and press directly onto your eye lids---the key here is use a stiffer more dense brush like the Mac 239 brush. Wetting the brush creates more intensity as well as prevents the sparkles from getting all over your face. This look is one of my most requested looks by my clients and it’s so easy to achieve. All you need would be the right eyeliner, sparkly shadow of your choice and the right tools. Finish this look with lots of mascara and pop some falsies for extra drama! It’s a fun twist on a classic look.

Glitter Liner Pop!
This look is all about bringing the twinkle out in your eyes. This is an easy way to add a little holiday sparkle to your makeup. For those girls including myself who love to rock a winged liner this look is a great way to add a fun twinkle to your eyes. Using a gold sparkly liquid liner like the Two Faced Smoldering Gold Glitter Pop Liner, also what I like to refer to as liquid gold, line the upper eyelids along the lash line and continue the liner towards the inner corner to reflect light. Tracing along the top part of a black winged liner makes the gold pop even more!

The Perfect Holiday Bold Lip
Try a different take on a holiday lip. Do a metallic lip instead of a matte. Start by prepping your lips with a lip primer like Mac Prep and Prime Lip, this will help the lipliner to glide on smoothly and will help to fill in any lines and texture on the lips, preventing the lipstick from bleeding. Line your lips with a blue red lip liner like Mac Cherry Lip pencil to create shape, then apply a metallic lipstick like Stila Stay All day liquid Lipstick- Beso Shimmer. The key to this look is to keep the rest of the face neutral and matte.
